Each piece will with come with specific cleaning instructions. In general, surfaces can be dusted regularly with a soft, clean, lint free cloth, or cleaned with a damp rag if dust has accumulated. Never use harsh chemicals. When in doubt, always opt for a gentle wash that does not contain detergents.

If possible, if bronzes are outside, keep clear of sprinkler sprays, ocean salt spray and chlorinated pool water to avoid damage to the patina. I recommend waxing the bronze sculpture 2-4 times a year if outdoors and and 1-2 times a year if indoors. Bitcher’s wax or a clear shoe polish wax are perfect with a clean cloth.

A resin sculpture should be fine outside if it is not in direct sun and not subject to rain or snow. Under a covered porch in a warm climate works well. Dusting and a damp cloth are usually enough. A resin sculpture indoors just needs simple dusting.
